About The Event
Give your junior high kids the gift of mindfulness, calming practices, meeting new friends, and fun exploration of movements through yoga designed for their age.
They will learn basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, use of the yoga wall rope and short meditations. A fun class that will help build confidence and self-esteem while learning relaxation and coping techniques. The benefits of yoga for tweens and young teens include stress relief, balance of high or low energy levels, improved concentration and focus, and a boost in imagination and creativity.
4 week series on Mondays & Wednesdays, Sep 10 - Oct 4, 4:15-5pm. Register by Sep 8th.
