About The Event
Curious about Vinyasa or Flow Yoga? Join us for this special introductory course. You will learn the fundamentals of Vinyasa Yoga in a safe, comfortable environment surrounded by other beginners! Join our very own teacher, Sherie Sloane, E-RYT/ YA-CEP for this workshop designed to support you, your body, and your questions. In this two-hour workshop, you will:
- Learn the basics and elements of Vinyasa Yoga, including Sun Salutations
- Experience proper alignment in fundamental poses, modifications, and appropriate use of yoga props
- Explore basic breath work and meditation techniques
- Gain strength, stability, lightness, and ease in the body and mind
This workshop is appropriate for folks who are brand new to yoga, have been away from the mat for a while, or for those who simply want to get back to basics. Gain the confidence and knowledge you need to launch a steady, safe yoga practice.
