This workshop will explore arm balances in an approachable, fun and safe way, helping you overcome fears and preconceptions, build core strength, enhance the strength and stability of your shoulders and wrists, improve your focus and concentration, and build your confidence on and off the mat.
No experience in arm balancing? No worries. This workshop is geared towards total beginners to intermediate students learning to balance. Crow, Flying Pigeon, Eight-Angle, Side Planks, Side Crow, Headstand and Handstand preps are broken down in detail. You will learn proper anatomical alignment, muscular engagement, strengthening drills, how to use the power of mindful breathing in inversions, and how to use props as helpful tools to build confidence in finding that lift. Forget fear and be ready to explore what's possible.
